Guys,

anyone of the 806 fans seen a bracelet anything like this:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... SS:GB:1123

Very intriguing.. someone finds out so intriguing that they have bid although the starting price is already quite high.

Not happy about the case-back though: doesn't look like it has a serial number inside.

I quite like the bracelet (if it were original), but the total price is already way off the scale in my opinion.

Sorry, just noticed that I posed in the wrong area - doah. Apologies.

Well I've never seen it before, and it doesn't look terribly Breitling like, and I'm not buying the QEII / Prince Charles thing, but I can't categorically say that it's wrong.

In terms of the watch, the serial would likely be inside the caseback, possible that it's just the bad photographs. Most of the hands look OK, but it really is tough to tell with the quality of the pictures, and of course it's impossible to say anything about the movement other than it looks like a 178.

Price is still pretty reasonable if it's right, but I wouldn't bid based on the picture quality.

I think that bracelet is horrid. I can't imagine Breitling made something like that.

As we all know I'm certainly no vintage expert, but I've never seen anything even close to that before.

Well, they actually say in the auction that the original bracelet has been switched.

But then, all the fuzz on "some experts say it's real, some don't", the "I'm selling this for my husband" and unfocused pics - I'd not place any bid on it.

Actually they admit the clasp was replaced, not the bracelet. It does seem like an honest if (wait for it) optimistic summary.
