You dont see them very often but these are still around as well
The Breitling module watches where you can remove the inner case out of the outer case and use them as a hand held stopwatch
They must not have been very popular as the empty cases can be found with ease on eBay , but this is what they looked like as a complete watch

condition isnt too bad either ;-)

Man, that last Datora is just stunning . . . as if I needed more references to look into than I already do.

Out of curiosity, how do you feel the watches wear? I would imagine it's pretty bulky given the additional casing materials, but was curious about your own experiences.

Also, easy to take these modules apart/put back to use as a stop watch? I assume it just pops out of the back when you're not wearing the watch?

yes, they're very nice and under the radar atm , but finding them for sale and in reasonable condition will be an 'interesting' hunt ;-)

they're actually the same height as a 'normal' watch and wear like any other watch

they are held in place by friction , there's a rubber 'O' ring around the module that holds the module in place in the case . if the 'O' ring is in good condition they pop out and slide in quite easily with a little force

Holy crap! I didn't even realize the middle one has the Super Ocean slow chronograph! What the heck!?!?

So I did a quick search for the Datora 2034 reference in order to take a look at what's out there. Turns out one sold for $1.08 TRILLION EUROs . . . . in the 1970s . . . .

yeah . . . maybe out of my reach now.

Congrats René for those 3 rarities .
Just an interrogation about the H+M hands of the Datora 2034 , they look really close to Heuer hands design , just follow above link for Camaro's hands .
