I have understood that the 734s are quite rare so I thought that I could share a picture of mine. I'm not a collector of vintage watches and before yesterday I didn't know anything about the old Breitlings. My father has had them in a box for at least 30+ years. I really want to wear them sometimes because they are very beatiful but I'm more of a diver steel bracelet kind of guy so I really need your help and suggestion to find some matching leather strap. ah.... the strap question. I buy most of my straps from Andreas Gregoriades; croc & "vintage type" leather. he currently has only 22mm croc straps and u need 20s, but u can nessage and ask: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Croco ... SwBahVFm08 "vintage calf" http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LocalTime-Wat ... 1z3SfyvDTg Hirsch "Forest" look great too, light brown or tan buffalo leather. http://www.ebay.de/itm/Uhrenarmband-HIR ... this should teach me ....... never to take anything I think to know for gospel. the first two ref. 734 clearly confirmed my assumption, nos. 559.248 & 543.902 ![]() ![]() , but ...... the other two are approx 19mm, nos. 597.923 & 600.931 proving again that I'll never know enough ![]() ![]() |

Some of mine could be between 18.5 and 19, didn't measure all that exact. (also don't have a digital caliper) |
