| Post subject: | New Vintage Breitling FAKE! |
Here's a new one for me. I have seen 100s of fake but this one is special. It looks pretty good at first glance but the movement is the new (last 5 years or so) Chinese copy of the Venus cal. 175 with a very official looking signed bridge. A quick check of Breitling watches on ebay today 1940-1969 had some interesting results. 16 were the real deal, 14 were questionable (a variety of inconsistencies) and 10 were obvious fakes.
