They've also sold a Heuer 2446 Rindt for 60.000CHF plus fee and VAT. Who has bought for that money???

IMO they was definitely not sold at those prices, and we have seen something like that before.

I can't tell you what it's all about, because I simply don't know, but my best guess is that they for some reason try to paint a picture of the watches being worth much more then they actually are, for their own future benefit.

Guess the word "syndicate" comes close........!!!!

I have a friend that works for a top tier auction house but in the art department. They guarantee the price of super expensive works and will bid themselves to support the prices to sellers. Maybe that happens in the watch and jewelery world too....
