Post subject:  Possible dial corrosion on Navitimer 806

I posted a picture of this watch earlier and everyone agreed it was a very nice example. In looking at another picture of the watch it looks like there may be dial corrosion around the lume on the markers. What do you think? If it is corrosion, how much does this effect the value of the watch. Opinions??

Yes, that is corrosion. Happens more than you know!

I don't think it affects the value much at all. If you want a pristeen 806 wait until one comes along and buy it. Signs of age don't turn off everyone so there's a market for any 806 in any condition. Someone would have to be deep into your personal space to detect a little corrosion around the lume. Don't worry about it.

That is funny! Be suspicious of anyone that asks to casually inspect your dial for corrosion. Only person who could see it on your wrist would be Superman. :D :D

Honestly I think this is a beautiful 806, the corrosion actually turns me on :)
