My first post here, so hello all!
Hopefully this is the correct subforum for this topic.
I'm currently looking after a 1939 Breitling (no idea of the model - would be interested if anyone can identify it) that belongs to my grandfather.

It flew with him in WWII, and so it has a reasonable amount of sentimental value.
From what I know, It hasn't worked for over 60 years, as it was 'bashed' by my father when he was very young.
Since then it has slowly fallen into poor cosmetic condition, and is also missing the bezel/glass, at least 2 hands and possibly some other parts, and the strap is not original (and could probably do with a new one).
No idea if it has all the internal parts, but even so the movement would surely need a full overhaul anyway.
At some point within the past 12+ months it was taken to a jewelry/watch shop (no idea which/where) who then sent it on to Breitling with the aim of them repairing it, but it was sent back due to them not having the replacement parts (hardly surprising - seems strange that they would've sent it to them given how many parts are missing).
From a quick google I can see that there are places that might be able to do this type of work, but I've posted this here to see if anyone can recommend anywhere in particular?
Ideally would be in the UK, although I suppose anywhere in Europe would also be ok.
Any replies are greatly appreciated!
