This is probably a noob dumb question, but do all Breitling 806 service dials have the red triangle markers and the boxed 10? Were there ever original dials with these red markings?

no service dials I know of have the boxed 10 ;)
service dials that are currently available have "red accents"
a boxed 10 sliderule requires a boxed 10 dial.

Here's another service dial example. This is a very new dial from a Breitling service. Refinished case as well.

Eric, how can you see the case is refinished?
Thanks

primarily because it says it on the service receipt of the listing. It's an excellent job.

if you had it side by side in real life next to an unpolished example you'd be able to tell...

The diameter of the lugs is likely a touch smaller... And I have a feeling the brushed finish on this case may be a little more aggressive than the original... But can't make that call from these pics

Coupla questions regarding Breitling 806 Service Dial (and hands/case refinished) offerings:

1). Has anyone here seen a "small subregister" 806 Service Dial? It seems that in my (admittedly brief) online research, that no one has seen one of these; thoughts/examples?
2). Strap/Bracelet/Box/Paperwork aside, how much does a Service Dial replacement effect the value of same? I'm in the vintage guitar bidness, and the rule of thumb is "Refin=~50% DEVALUATION". I personally can't see quite so deep a devaluation in the Breitling World, but I'm curious as to what the experts think and have seen...

Myself, *I* find a certain "added value" to owning an 806 WITH a Service Dial - said watch could be worn with a higher degree of impunity & less worry, LOL! In the past, I've owned two Rolex 6538 "Big Crown" models (until THEY just got too expensive to wear on a daily basis), one with a Service Dial, and one (that was later found to have been relumed BY Rolex NYC) with newer C3 lume; in both cases, the watches were worth ~2/3's the value of an untouched watch. Thanks in advance for your consideration!

None "red accents" service dials.

Any serious watch collectors will say that it kills the collectible value completely, I for once - would never even think of buying a watch with such a dial.

Appreciated, Kurt - And I think that anyone who scans the Vintage Breitling section of this forum for more than seven minutes realizes this about YOU - "100% ONLY"; all the rest is worthy only of the trash bin...

That doesn't really answer my question, however; it's simply ONE man's preference - YOURS. It's the equivalent of me saying "I only like Blondes - ALL other women have no "value" to ME..." I'm looking for a general consensus of expert opinion as to exactly HOW MUCH - percentage wise - a GENUINE BREITLING Service Replacement Dial "devalues" a given Breitling 806 - ALL OTHER THINGS BEING EQUAL. As I said in my query - by example, in the vintage guitar business, a "refin" - of an (otherwise) all original guitar, say a Fender Stratocaster/Telecaster or a Gibson Les Paul Standard - is "devalued" ~50% by an otherwise "proper" refin. Would *I* buy a refinished Gibson Les Paul Standard? No; categorically NOT. Is there a "market" for refinished vintage guitars? Absolutely! Do *I* know what that market supports in terms of being able to "valuate" an instrument that has been refinished? Yes I do; by proxy, I'm simply looking for an equally "learned opinion" of same vis a vis the vintage Breitling 806 World - I guess I'll continue to wait for an opinion, or I won't get one...
