Hello folks, been a while since I've posted but haven't given up on my love for vintage 806's, among others 'lings. I picked up this the other day and would appreciate feedback. Serial # indicates '58, any any other information would be greatly appreciated. It's currently at my watchmaker's having a new crystal and pusher cap fitted. Also, the the bezel is frozen and would like any insight (generally speaking) to its usage. Many thank to the Forum. |

A beautiful beautiful watch... What is the beginning of the serial? I bet it's close to one I've owned with a similar pretty dial and hands from 1959... what a lovely patina. The bezel issue may resolve when your watchmaker removes it to install the crystal, could just need a good cleaning... A very attractive watch! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Hi Eric, Thank you for the tip. Yes, I think (and hope) you might be right about the bezel just being dirty, there was quite a bit of gunk between the caseback and body when we opened it. First three of the serial # is 909. |
