Hello All This is my first post, although I have been delving into this forum for a few weeks now and have been impressed by the breadth and depth of knowledge and expertise on display. I recently bought my first vintage watch, an Angelus Chronodato, and am now considering buying my first vintage Breitling. I was wondering if any forum members could give me their views on the following watch, currently for sale on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-Breit ... SwUuFWwLTB I understand the two questions I should start by asking are: 1. Does the watch look original or fake/frankenised? 2. What would be a fair, market price for a Breitling Premier 788 in this condition? Many thanks Ben |

Hi. That watch looks to be correct but a warning. The seller has shill bid his watch repeatedly and seems to do the same with all of his sales. It "sold" twice in the Euro 1000 range only to reappear. As they say, "buy the seller" so I personally would avoid. |
