Post subject:  Long Playing With Serial Number Containing 415

Hi there,

I'm new to this forum. Hello everyone.

I have a Long Playing, recently fully restored by Breitling UK. My question is: Searching online I see many Long Playing with the serial number 815. Mine has 415 i.e 1 415 812. Is there any difference etc?

I looked at serial number sticky, and I'm guessing that this means it was made in 1973?

Or am I misinterpreting the serial number?

Thanks,

TS

815 is the reference number of a "Long Playing" model, replacing the Top Time 810. not a serial.

1.415.xxx is a serial number, indicating the case was produced in 1973

a pic of the watch will tell us what model it is.

Thanks for your speedy reply.

That makes sense now. I'll take a pic of the watch a bit later and post - It's nice to know it was manufactured in 1973...two years younger than me. :D
