Breitling 815, is it worth it?

Would like to have your opinion of this watch. USD 2700

Also is it silver plated or stainless steel? Just want to understand if it's hard restore the case.

case is stainless steel, see no reason to restore anything ?
remember that polishing a case is always a dangerous game.

high end of market, though the SS 815s have been rising in price, though still way below the earlier 810.

I'd say 2 could be your target, 2.2-2.5 reasonable.
