Post subject: | Breitling chrono matic 2111 different particulars, why? |
I am Luca from Italy and I am sorry for my English... I like the Breitling Chrono Matic 2111 with White/blue dial and I know that it used the "Buren" Cal. 11, Cal. 11-2, and the Cal. 12. The problem is that I see many Breitling Chrono Matic 2111 with different particulars like: numbers of the date red or black, hours/minutes hands orange with open or closed edge, and some dials with chronographic hours/minutes counters rimmed by white line, other dials without this white line around the counters, someone could say what is correct or no? I have found few vintage images or adv. that could help, one is this from a vintage catalogue (Chronosport) and the 2111 has the black numbers and "open" hands...: Attachment: Breitling Chrono Matic da Chronosport - Copia.jpg another images from a Breitling catalogue is this, but we see clearly only that the blue counters are rimmed by a white line (we see the red date only of the 2111 with black dial): Attachment: Breitling Chrono Matic Brochure.jpg Some friends could say something? Thanks for your attention. |
