Are the hands different (size of the hole/Zeigerfutter in German) between these references? Best, Ralph |

It's a pity, Fred. I assume these hands are by far more rare as the V178-hands? |

both 7806 and 8806 have been equipped w/ the new straight tip white main hands you see on the 1806, those are much easier to find. |

I forgot a bloody detail about 7806 : the small second hand is specific , arrow shape . Recently I noticed that Omega used same shape on their Speedmaster Schumacher , but damned the Omega hands are too long! They also used similar orange sweephands, just a bit too long ![]() This detail is currently bothering me, I have a 7806 in progress lacking this bloody small second hand . |

Thanks a lot, Saabreit. A good source for the future! Fred, maybe I misunderstood? The 7806/8806 had normally the 806-style hands (but with other hole-sizes as we've learned). The straight tip doesn't look good to me on a 8806 ![]() Ralph ![]() |

here u go; 8806 w/ "flat tip" hands, so we might not like them, but they are clearly correct ![]() |

Hm, my 8806 has a 1407xxx-serial from 1973... Maybe both types of hands were used parallel? |
