watch seems correct - and as "signed" as it should be for the period. |

I saw that earlier and the fact it says it's a 40mm watch was worrisome. |

Thanks WatchFred. After a search I saw a Breitling signed bridge on a near nos 1946 179 model with a Venus 170 movement and wondered if the bridge on this one was a red flag. |

Thanks vintage, A helpful search found this bridge subject was discussed in detail on this forum in 2012. 40mm did sound too big at first. The seller may have included the crown. I'll find out. |

Watch arrived today, 37mmX42mm, 20mm strap. Keeping good time. Will have it serviced and a new crystal put on it. Now to find a service person for the Venus movement... |
