Paul, this isn't the same watch iirc and I could not find your original post, just the one when Bill resold it:
viewtopic.php?f=11&t=45546&hilit=crossroads

another '57 was listed from Italy on c24, do not remember whether your watch had that co-branded chrono bridge too ?

http://mb.nawcc.org/showthread.php?8660 ... -movements

Perhaps everyone has already seen/discussed this, but came across this link where Bill is asking for an opinion on the watch he bought, Roland Ranfft says he's seen three examples, and even lists UZO import code as Crossroads/Breitling on his website.

Re: Three letter Swiss to USA import codes on various movements

Hi Bill,

there were obviously many Breitling importers back then. This sample is the third of this kind I've noticed - not many but still enough to be sure that Crossroad was one of the importers.

Regards, Roland Ranfft

no doubts re the originality anymore, just a - I think - new to me co-branded bridge, Eric.
but Paul had one (and sold it to Bill who then immediately re-sold it)

The research I did when I had mine seemed to indicate the release of these watches was done to coincide with the Breitling Sputnik clock in 1957 which was also done by Crossroads. Too much of a coincidence, imho, not to have some basis. In Googling around some a few months back I came upon another Crossroads Nav in Japan but it might be the one I had via Bill. I supplied the info to Ranfft for inclusion in his list.
