Roff - I picked up this vintage Premier a few weeks ago mainly because of the unique lugs. Dial and hands are original. The case is all stainless and 36.4mm without the crown. A lot of the movement parts are missing but I have all of those. Looks like a reference 797 Serial #706146. I was going to restore and sell it but I may keep it for my own collection. Got any thing like this in your records? Thanks, Craig

Not one that rings a bell off the top of my head - but I'll hit the books and see what I can come up with. It's a nice looking piece though.

Is the bridge original - Breitling script looks a bit off.

Roff - It looks original to me but I will compare it so some others that I have in my parts. Thanks, Craig

Roff - I Google a ref 797 Breitling and come up with a match. I won't mention the site here as the watch is for sale but if you do the same, you'll find it. Craig

Sometimes the simple approach is the best....

Those guys are trustworthy, so I believe what they say - clearly the same model that you have, year matches, movement is right - looks like you have a nice piece. I think for the work that you will need to put into it for the value that pieces like this command, you are probably better off holding on to it for now, but sooner or later the market is going to wake up to the fact that it doesn't have to say Chronomat or Navitimer on the dial to be worth something.
