Hello all I'm new to this forum. Just need some help and advice. My name is Adam and I do house clearance for work, i come across some weird, wonderful and disgusting things. At work I found a breitling watch has numbers on the back 806 and 1307529. The watch has no straps, box or any paperwork. I took it to my local breitling shop and they confirmed it's real. I have no idea about watches so this is why I'm here for your help and advice.

Is it any good?
what will it be worth as it stands?

I'm not a watch person so will be getting rid of it soon.

To be honest I hate my job until I find something interesting. This is one of them interesting pieces, I just want to know more about it.

You have a nice original 806 there. I'm sure you'll be getting some PMs soon which will give you an idea of value
Is it currently winding, running, setting, and chronograph functioning and resetting properly?

When I visited my local breitling shop they winded it and said it is working. I'm not sure about everything else, i haven't touched it since I fount it so I have no idea if it's in good condition needs work ect. Also the back hasn't been open since its been in my possession.

Based on your serial number, the watch is from 1969.
From what I see, the watch seems indeed in original condition and not polished which is good.
I let more knowledgeable people give your more information about it .

Can anybody tell me how much this watch can fetch as it stands now. Would like to find out a rough guide price.

My estimate :

$2000-2500 on Ebay . maybe a bit more . so thats $1800-2200 net to you after Ebay & paypal costs (roughly 10%)

By the pictures can some one make it clear if it has original parts or if it has had parts changed. Just wanna know how original it is.

the parts that are visible are all original , the movement I cant see so I am not commenting on that

I contacted Adam - lovely chap - and arranged to purchase the watch. Today back from the spa - cleaned up very well. Needed nothing other than a service, a clean, and a new OEM sliderule.
