My first post here has a dual purpose. Firstly, to share this wonderful pre-806. And secondly, to thank two people for energizing my love of watches. Fred, for introducing me to the magic of vintage Breitling, and Dracha, for enabling that magic to become a reality for me. I have learned more perusing this forum for 1 week than I have in a year on other watch sites. With more time here, who knows, I may graduate from being a WI to a WIS. Cheers, David

Congrats, is a beauty and welcome to vintage Breitlings, nice Valjoux 72. What serial range? Don't mention the last 3 numbers for security, just put in XXX. |

No, the bracelet I think is by Champion (have to check if recall the brand right) that was a switch I believe if one wanted a SS bracelet on the watch back in the day. Breitling never sold SS bracelets on these back then, only leather, but you could opt to put one on from Champion according to Kurt who I got the watch from. |

Btw have some movement pics? Would be great to compare notes, love the V72 engine! I considered ordering a fabricated custom sapphire caseback to display the movement but never got to doing it:) Here's a movement pic on mine
