My first question is on the bezels? Some are alle black some partially? The all black are the early one? Do you know the evolution here?

7652 is also uncommon or rare , and I didn't put it in the list because I see two versions. one Co-Pilot? one yachting?
Yours and this I have seen from watchsea, what's your view? Both dial are correct?

Will is referring to the "small dial" 7806-S - Valjoux R7740 ?

incorrect dial - but Breitling was using whatever parts they had available, even for Chronolog pictures

Big cases for R72 and 724 must be different from Cal.11/12 and V178 as they had asymmetrical pushers.

not sure if they are execution differences or model differences , but both black and black/silver seem to be correct depending on the model

Thanks Rene, at first I would say the all black are the first Versions and the metal+black are the second one. But that's just an Impression. forgot 1808 chronomat , I will add it later and some catalog/brochure found on that thema.

Also, slightly off topic but the image of the Navitimer 7806-S in the penultimate picture has chrono matic on the dial? Is this a 8806 dial? Will

-Thanks, I actually see that there is a catalog section here on the source... too bad I missed it before. -For the case look the same, but I don't know if they are the same. There might have been some adaptation between Venus, Valjoux 72 and Caliber 12. Ring? caseback? -Good observation for the 7806S , it's... curious ?

Yes. I was. Interesting that this confirms Breitlings policy of using available parts!? I assumed it was only speculation? Would love to know what ref it says on the case back!! Are you saying that Cal.11/12 would be the same cases as V178? Thanks. Great to learn as always. Will

well, in this particular case this is a bit more than speculation, we have the picture to prove it .... and it was very clearly confirmed by Albert Wajs of O&W in a personal meeting - though he might have been quoting market rumours at the time, probably also did not witness this himself.
