On the bay...

1965 806 with small subs but with red markers...

As way of learning more I ask Is this correct?

Just a 67/68 dial with the wrong sliderule, no? Maybe the receipt does not belong to the watch. Serial number would tell.

I think you're asking because you wonder if it should have larger sub dials? The larger 9mm subregisters did not appear until '68 according to the handy 806 timeline. Small registers on the "box 10" dial is correct, but the slide rule should have matching red markings. Due to the patination of the dial, it's not surprising the original slide rule was likely trashed.

Thanks. Yes. Just noticed the red box so would be a 1967(?) as opposed to '65?

Slide rule therefore a replacement and date incorrect....or dial replaced!

As David says serial number would resolve it.
