Post subject: | Question about the slide rule on an 808 |
I have been looking at some photos of ref 808 chronomats and realized that the outer scale of the slide rule counts down in a clockwise fashion instead of up like on a Navitimer, or E6B, or any other circular slide rule I have ever seen... I am extremely familiar with using the E6B style slide rule, but this one isn a mystery to me. Anyone know how to use it? |

That link has an outstanding (albeit basic, i know many other ways to use it) description of how to us the E6B style slide rule like the Navitimer has... But unfortunately gives no indication of how to use the kind on the 808. |

The chronomat one has the outer ring counting down (so the 1.4 would be to the right of the 1.5) which makes this type of math not work |
