I noticed this photo recently... Upon a glance I thought perhaps it was a Top Time dial placed in an 806... But upon closer inspection it appears to be a small-subdial Navitimer dial. I've asked WatchesbySJX for more info, but have not yet gotten a response. He says it belongs to a Navitimer lover from Switzerland.

Is this old news? I searched the forum but could not find anything similar.

there is no documented "Albino" Navitimer 806 - the only example we've seen was a "prototype" offered by TheSage Michael März of youknowhatlounge and on larger pictures it was clearly identifiable as a Frankenfake; this pic is too small to say anything relevant.

Thanks Fred. I'm intrigued by this photo because the other pieces appear to be correct. I am very curious to see more photos, but would not be surprised to learn it was homemade.

Will try to get more pics.

Yes, quite.

posted it on the timeline as well, they will probably make it out to be a prototype but its one of the famous Sage pieces we've known about for a long time

Pretty impressive work, Rene, even coming from a "turn the other cheek" guy!

Rene's trick is also a useful way to distinguish between original and service dials. Not so extreme, but same idea. That was one of the first pearls of knowledge I remember absorbing from this forum.

You guys never cease to amaze me. Very cool step by step, especially like turning the white dial negative for easy compare. Well done!
