I picked up this Navitimer about a month ago and it was missing it's balance, movement retainer screws/brackets, crown and stem. and hands were loose under the crystal. Decided the best method to fix was to send it to the Heist's at Horological Services since they have access to the parts that are hard for us regular folk to acquire. Just got it back today and it's mounted on a new croc strap I had set aside for it. Looks amazing and I didn't have them refinish the outside. As usual I seem to always include a dust spec in my pics. ![]() Also got this rare Navitimer 3300 Blue Angels back from a Breitling authorized service center in San Francisco. The reason I'm bringing this up here, since it's really not so vintage, is because I sent this watch to BUSA first because it was missing the lower left pusher cap and they returned it saying they don't have parts for it anymore so I sent it to San Francisco. Odd that their authorized service center had no trouble finding the part. It pays not to give up sometimes. |
