Not a good thing if these start popping up on the 'bay. Any reason for thinking these are replica's or NOS? |

I think you can report items on eBay if they'd encourage people to commit a fraudulent act. For example, I once had a perfectly genuine Breitling box I was selling removed by the dear old Bay as apparently it "might encourage a buyer to attempt to pass off a fake watch as a genuine one". Maybe, maybe not, but they removed my auction anyway. So if you think there's a real chance of people abusing these bridges and putting them in cheaper movements, then report away. |

The problem with these is that if they are genuine, and at this point I'm not 100% convinced that they are not, then there is a legitimate market for them in restoration. Not as much as some of the more fragile (and non branded) components maybe, but there is a legitimate market. The problem is that there is also the opportunity for abuse. |

This guy has a legitimate business selling NOS parts for all brands of watches. 14,000+ feedback @ 100%. Almost anything he sells could be used in a Frankenwatch but stopping him selling would be like banning fertilizer because a terrorist could make a bomb using it, or beer because morons drive when drunk. Don't see any way around the issue.
