I came a cross one on eBay and almost pulled the trigger but it was too late. Val 72 from 1954
It didn't last 3 min. The asking price was $4750 and it was sold for that.
I say this one was one time apportunity and I missed it.

That's funny, I hit buy it now probably (luckily) 30 seconds too late. That's why eBay buyer protection is for though right? How does a fraudster like that expect to get paid?

Yeah right , 'buyer protection' I am currently in process od doing a chargeback through my CC as 'buyer protection' decided in favor of seller

That's too bad Rene, sorry to hear. I hope that when the buyer of this non-existent V72 opens up his $4700 box of rocks, PP refunds him.

I do not sell watches on the bay anymore..... That is the #1 reason why I stopped. Ebay has changed their policy to basically give the buyer all the rights and advantages and the seller has no rights.

Here is the one ebay decided in favor of seller , basically i got a 'dont complain , pics were up there and we see no reason to doubt seller' and then their appeal reply was 'once we made a decision we do not reverse that decision in any appeal'. Great appeal process

Wow.... Most of the times, like 9.9 out of 10 it goes the other way Rene. I have to say I am shocked. But not.... They are something else.

Always a buyers remorse wins over trustworthy Seller. New Ebay rules what a standards .
