Hi everybody I am new to Breitling Navitimer 806 and I have fallen in love with the model. From what I can find, this 1966 model looks OK to me, but before buying it, I hope if anyone can confirm this? Any help is highly appreciated! ![]() ![]() Best regards Jlhansen |

Looks lovely, but I think it might have a service re-dial? Can you post a larger / expandable picture of the watch face, specifically the Breitling logo, and the lume? |

Hi everyone. Here is a better picture of the dial. Hope this helps, so some of you can determine, if the dial is OK? Thank you for taking the time ![]() ![]() Best regards, Jlhansen |

ok, Rene and I might disagree - no replacement dial, but a very good relume, probably Heist ? |

I would like to see the '12' in close up / macro as the '2' looks a bit , how do you say that , 'crouched' , hard to explain but I would like to see a macro shot of the '12' sliderule ring patina (almost none existent) looks spot on and in line with the rest of the dial , which also looks very clean |

I think it looks fine. You would expect a bit more patina to the lume, but going back to the first set of images, the mechanism looks mint to and the surface where the caseback and case touch has barely a drop of grime, which you normally even see after cleaning. Looks like it's just never been used. the lume in the hands is cracking a bit so it's not new or a recent re-lume, and it's colour matches the dial lume perfectly. It's a lovely piece. Buy it! - provided that the price is not extraordinary too. |

Thank you for taking the time ![]() Best regards, Jlhansen A friend of mine asked me to comment on the watch a few days ago, and I recommended him not to buy it. To my eyes there's no doubt that the markers on the dial has been redone, and that the case has been completely restored. The dial looks incredible clean, the only comments I can make on it, is that the writing looks very white, the "SWISS MADE T" in the bottom looks odd and I would have liked the subdials to be silver, but I won't pull the trigger and call it a fake, as I honestly don't think that it is. IMO it's a no-go, as the collectible value has been flushed away with the work that has been done to the dial & case, but having said that, it's definitely a nice looking watch. / Kurt B http://www.kurt-b.com |

I'm with the relume to the dial. Agree with Fred, looks like a Heist job. I notice from Heist invoices I have seen recently that black and white slide rules are being replaced too. Would explain the cleanliness. |

id be happy to own it, would depend on the price. I guess you could send the serial number to Heist and asked if they worked on it. Is the seller being deceptive? If I found a piece in worse than that condition and sent to Craig, and it came back like that I'd be thrilled! |
