Post subject: | Tritium restoration if very dark/discoloured? |
Hi all. Been mulling over a 7806 that is in mint condition, bar the lume markers being very dark and quite fugly. which is a pity, as the rest of it presents very well. As I seem to be unable to find any mint condition examples, what are your thoughts on having the lume plots refinished? Assume hands too, so as to match. |

I wouldn't touch the lume mate, that would immediately make the watch loose value drastically. The current thinking is bad lume is better than a relume, so keep as is! Offcourse if collectability is not important and u just won't wear it the way the lume currently is, then you might have a good reason to relume. Post some pics! |

Hard to find anything in my neck of the woods. That being said, I'm in London now, so if anyone has any leads for me I'd sure appreciate the tips! |
