The second authentic Breitling/Wakmann co-branding example we know about, the only documented Military Breitling watch for the US and (for me) surprisingly late for a "pocket watch" in military use ?
The original MIL specification is from 1943 (Hamilton supplied these), adapted as MIL-W-5605 in 1950; Breitling's model reference is 605-A; the MIL specs were again adapted in 1957. I assume the "AN" part marking makes my watch one used by the US Navy ?

tried to google the contract number to find out a bit more about time frame and quantities, but no luck.
Beautiful dial and a "black-on-black" engraved script Breitling logo, caseback marked both "Breitlingwatchcorp Swiss" and "Breitling Swiss Made", serial number dates it to 1961; movement is a 19 lignes Valjoux R5 KVM.
