Thought I'd share a recent acquisition.
Interesting looking at the prices and how they'd compare with today's!

Cool. I did a google on the "Corfam" strap which I'd never heard of, and found that it was a DuPont material they stopped making in 1971. Interesting that your price list is 1977.

It's also quite unusual to see the words "Navitimer" and "water resistant" on the same line :D

Yeah, with my limited knowledge no idea when water resistance became a possibility.
Can anyone shed any light?

Well Rolex went to almost 36,000 feet in 1960!

The issues with Navis are Breitling's definition of "water resistant", modern Navis are water resistant to 30m, but that's more of a nominal value than a practical benefit.

Personaly I consider my modern Navis as " water resistant if kept 30 m from water"

According to official production number list , since 1974 Breitling was producing less and less units a year :
6402 units in 1974 = ( 1433372-1426970 )
6044 units in 1975 = [1439417 - 1433373]
3504 units in 1976 = [1442922 - 1439418]
5541 units in 1977 = [ 1448464 - 1442923 )
8 units in 1978 = [1448473 - 14484655].

And considering the numerous unassembled cases spotting on ebay, we can imagine easily that Breitling had "up-stocked" ...
