What is your guess on a final selling price?

Always impossible to call! I suppose it depends on how much rare = desirable. Personally I'd rather have an 806 than a 7806, and I'd rather have stainless than gold. Also the slide rule etc looks inneed of help and the subdials are marked. But 806 parts watches are fetching $2K these days. So, it could be that rare does = desirable, but for me I wouldn't pay more than $1700-1800. Im also quite cheap :D

My guess is in the $3000 to $3500 range - you don't see these very often.

think buddman is closer; 2kish; SS go quite a bit higher than the average late60s/early70s 806, but condition and GP case will reduce the price; assume below 2.5k

I'll put in my guestimate as well (is there a price for being closest ? :-)

2750-3250

GP vs. SS
bad sliderule
Dial "patinated"
Hands not in the best condition

but some pieces do well in the current market , I think this one will do relatively well,

Would I pay 2750-3250 ? never

For those of you that haven't figured it out yet, it's always more after a current auction is posted on the forum.

I wanted to make sure it had a far shot at reaching a real price!

Looks like Fred and I were closest. We will have to split the prize if one year's free COAs from the OP, Chronodeco. A very good prize indeed! :D
