I saw this today at a local vintage watch store in Los Angeles. They have it listed as a ref#2110 but that doesn't seem correct to me, in my limited experience. The only information which comes close is from this website http://www.breitling-museum.com/Breitli ... Matic.html but there it states a ref #2110-15. Not sure what that means. I am in love with some of these Chrono-matics and in an attempt to educate myself more would anyone like to provide some more information o]n the attached picture? Thanks! Bill |

That is correct for a Cal-15 ref 2110. |

Bill - be so kind and avoid that site for your future searches, 90% or more of the 1940s-1960 watches displayed are fake or franken ! site owner selects watches "that I like from ebay listings", a quote from an email communication w/ him .... cal. 15 was a afawk 1972/73 "low cost" version of the cal. 11/12, so that's the earliest production date for these. |

I think this was discussed at some length a few years ago but I know I had a 2210-15 dated 1969. Whether they were actually made in 1969 is another matter and the general consensus was that these were old 2110 cases that had the -15 added to them later. That's also probably why the -15 is faint on these early pieces. So they may have been assembled later but still are correctly dated 1969 or 1970 as far as that goes. ![]() ![]() |

Yep, I stop in there every other week or so to see what they have. Sounds like I may be bumping into you sometime soon! jlee5050 wrote: The piece is legit, and I know where you saw this.

$5650 is ridiculous but all their prices have consistently been very high for years. Not a place I usually shop. |
