Came across this in a group of movements that was being thrown out. It's a felsa 711 that was used in the first two version of the Unitimes. I believe it from ref 2610. it had no case (back or front), no rotor, but a generic hands & winding stem. It ran but the world time ring didn't move. On closer inspection, some parts were missing such as the gear that moves the second 24 hour dial (I'm guessing because for the life of me I can not find any felsa 711 movement repair manual). Also, It looked like it was a failed attempt to restore the main dial, so it looks pretty bad. I know it's impossible to find the case, hands and other parts but is it worth restoring the dials? If anyone knows of a person that can restore dials, have any missing parts and advice, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, |

The problem with restoring the dial is twofold. Number one is it will always look like a restored dial. Number two is you'll have to also restore the other dial parts to match. After all that you have to hope you live long enough to have a case show up. Too lengthy a proposition to interest me and I've sat on watches for years awaiting that missing part. |

I think you are right. I'll tuck it away. |
