No point in me calling into Taylors then to see if I won! How much did it go for?

Welcome to Breitlingsource Barry and congrats on your first watch.

There was 9 commission bids. I was the only bidder in the room and I got if for £240. Description was a bit off as it works perfectly and keeps great time.

If I bothered to check the back I would have spotted the 178 :$

:welcome:

Nice looking 178 and a great price at auction. I think I would keep the case as it is, if it were me, unless its badly worn on the backside of course. Would not take much to get it looking great with a replate, all the same. A new strap would set it off very nicely as well.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I don't think I will get it re-plated but might get new glass for it as the acrylic is pretty scratched. I quite like the bonklik bracelet on it.
