Hi all,
I was offered a 2110 PVD Chrono-matic said to be a prototype, like NOS condition.

I can't finf this watch anywhere tonread something about it.

Please can anyone give me informations about this watch ( also said to be very very rare).

It's a 40mm case.

Breitling did some PVD models in the early 1970's but they always have PVD pushers and crown. That means the watch in question was either originally PVD and had the crown and pushers replaced or it was never PVD and someone later did the case. Since the PVD does wear it's a good chance someone just replaced the pushers and crown with steel pieces because the PVD pieces would be impossible to find. The serial number would help eliminate some possibilities.

I think you mean someone later replaced PUSHERS & CROWN with steel pieces (not hands as you wrote).

The seller guarantee the watch was NEVER TOUCHED as he owns it since 1971 - nerver used !!!!

well, someone touched it as it no longer has the PVD crown and pushers

I was asked 3.200euros is it such a rarity to worth that much ?

1400 euro's is a lot closer to my comfort zone if I wanted one

Why you refer to a totally different watch ?
It's not PVD (I know PVD's are rare) and completelly different dial and bezel....so don't understand !!!!!!!!!!!

Dracha shows same model, same dial, same bezel - and not modified.
as Paul wrote, PVD models also had black crown and pushers, so I'd take the watch Dracha linked to over the other without hesitation.

or, an even nicer one with a very nice bezel but already gone, just to show you realistic prices.

Markers are totally different as are the interior scales.

Also bezel is not the same.

The watch you show me also is a completelly different watch (even for you is much nicer...I respect).

I can see for you guys everything a newbie shows here are always not good...only the watches you say are good.....

U are correct, markers and scales are different, so if you think this is a correct "prototype" go ahead and buy it. you asked for our opinion if "such a rarity was worth €3.2k" - a most probably incorrect and doctored piece at almost triple the VERY nice and unquestionably correct watch I linked to. you have our response - and clearly for the last time from me, this is a waste of time.

I think that it's all been said, but what the heck there's a brick wall so I may as well beat my head against it........

I see no evidence to support any theory that it is a prototype, just a watch that is no longer in original condition. The comparable provided by Fred and Rene are perfectly appropriate and reasonably priced. But, your money, your choice, just don't expect people here to endorse opinions that they don't agree with. If you ask for opinions then you will get them and need to accept that you might not like them.
