Hi could someone give me some pointers on this navitimer - lume look strange colour(?relume/tobacco/humidity?). Are hour/min hands correct for this? Poor pics I know but he did send me a pic of movement- wog signed but can't save or attach!it's not in great shape- some dings etc but just trying to learn and gauge prices etc.
Many thanks
Ted

Maybe relume, sometimes hard to tell, but probably, yes. Note the colour contrast to the slide rule and the subdials shows the slide rule is replaced. So, you can use the colour of the slide rule as a gauge as to what "white" is in the image, and compare to the colour of the subdials, which are far too yellow and dirty/damaged for my taste. Humidity or tobacco, who knows. Hands look correct. Wouldn't be a watch for me. But, watches just for the parts are $1000 anyway. I suppose you would have to determine the condition if the parts you were after though. Crystal looks wrong too as the numbers are distorted. Case polished. Not a good example in any respects, IMO.

sliderule is clearly a (decent) refinished replacement - and I too think the lume is re-done, though decent work here too, but the color is off and the 2 seems a bit too wide. better pics would tell more, but it is at $1.6k now and will clearly rise further.

I was trying to get it on the cheap but we know those days are over. Will break 2k or should as far worse have gone way over this current mark with ease.
