Post subject:	Venus 178 Part
As a last resort, I thought I'd ask members here if they have any suggestions as to who I could contact for a hard to find Venus 178 part. I'm looking for a Venus 178 Minute Wheel, 24 hour version, part# 263. It seems that the 12 hour versions are fairly easy to find (Part #260) but the 24 hr. version is seems to be very rare. I talked to Craig at Chronodeco and another gentleman, neither of which had the part. I found one seller in Australia that sold one on eBay a week ago but nobody else I've contacted in the vintage parts business seems to have one or knows where to find one. I'm wondering if any members here have a suggestion on who I could try to contact? If I can't find it, I'll have to have one made which of course is costly and will take time. Thanks in advance for any suggestions! -Chad

Good news, after about 40 phone calls and many emails, I finally found a NOS minute wheel. Seems they're rarer than hens teeth.
