Good evening this is my first post. I recently came by this one, but I can not find any other dial alike on the web. Has anybody seen one like this? What do you think? thank you very much! |

I too have not seen a ref. 788 with a black dial yet, but I see no reason to doubt the dial authenticity, though I would like to see much better pics to say more about a possible relume, though not recent. Would like to see a pic of caseback and movement, but logo looks correct for an early 1940s dial, as does the "ANTICHOC" at 6. Hands are clearly much, much later replacements. |

Thank you Fred yes there is no doubt about the hands imho. unfortunately I don't have other pictures right now, but will definitly post some if i fall for it. Thanks very much to the both of you! |
