That's on the assumption that the lume on the hands is gone and you can see through the hand, as on your example. If the hands were fully intact with old lume, I would leave it alone. I work on the assumption that on the hands, the relume process could be "reversed" if you really wanted it to be. I think for a dial, you need to remove all the old lume first, so you can never get it back to how you found it and some would argue that's a no-no on a watch like this. |
