Hi
Can anyone recommend uk based watch repairer to undertake service on 806?
I live in the south east and would ideally like someone local(ish) where I could take the watch in person. I don't really won't to take it to breitling in Tonbridge due to high prices and a long wait!

Does anyone have experience of Chris Heal (Cheal Watches) in Rye Easr Sussex? He has quoted £180 to service an 806 but not sure of his 806 experience.

Thanks.
Will

Your can send it by post to Stephen Burrage at Ryte Time watch repairs. My personal experience with Cheal Watch was not positive. Stephen gets good reviews on the watch boards and recently service by Omega Speedmaster with no issues.

Modern Breitling should not be allowed anywhere near vintage pieces!

Many European members use chronodeco in the US for reasons that will be obvious from looking at any of the threads showing pieces that he has worked on.

Thanks guys.
Will take a look at both. I have a 1964 806.
I haven't owned it for long so no idea when it was last serviced. I am not sure whether to have it serviced or not as is keeping great time and functioning well. Any advice guys?
Will

If you don't know the history, get it serviced. Very cheap insurance against the kind of damage that could be happening in that movement!
