Anybody used a seller called

Orange County Watch Company.

They have this for sale but has been 'bought' several times recently.

Are they reputable?
Is the watch genuine?Says bezel is missing but can't se where from. HELP!

Your thoughts please.

Never dealt with them, although I've obviously seen them around.

The watch is interesting. Serial number dates it to 1967, and it's not a 765, I believe it's a 7656 like this - http://img151.imageshack.us/img151/171/ ... 736ft3.jpg

You can now see why there's a missing bezel.

Here's what makes it interesting - it's a great insight into the way that a frankenwatch is assembled. Whoever put this together thought it was a 765. 765 was powered by a Venus 178, and that's what they put in it (an old one by the looks of it). Unfortunately for them this isn't a 765, the 7656 is powered by a Valjoux 7736.

As far as the hands are concerned, looks like whoever did it had some spares lying around - they are all completely different, and as you can see from the link above, inconsistent with the right thing.

Leave well alone.
