Hello,
I have just purchased a 1969 806 that needs a new sweep seconds hand.
Can anyone help with a source?
Thanks in advance.
Will

Also, are replacement hands for a 806 very hard to find?
New to breitling so any help will be very much appreciated!
Thanks.

Yes, they are very hard to find. Rarely come available.

Very important when looking for an 806/809 or any vintage Breitling for that matter, that you make sure the hands are in good shape or restorable. As one who has had to go through the search for hands, it is not one I want to repeat and I got blessed in the end.
The 806/809 matching hands are extremely hard to source plus change by years and case type so you have to be aware you are getting the right ones for your piece, not just HANDS but the RIGHT hands. We see incorrect hands all the time and on some so called "Grail" watches hoping the buyer will not know the difference, I.E. duping the public.

Thanks Wayne.
I will start my search now!
Hands are good with the exception of a missing 'tail' on the sweep seconds.
Bought the watch as a long term project so I'm in no hurry.
