Being new to the Breitling community, I decided to look up service prices and procedures for vintage models. What a surprise! According to their service price guide on the web, a full overhaul of a 1450 is just north of $300. Coming from Omega, where a service of a Seamaster Chrono is along the lines of $600 - $800, I'm quite impressed. Also, the fact that there's a stateside service center is another huge plus. I think I'm going to like it here.

Chronodeco [Craig Bergsma] A member of BS is super when it comes to vintage service and restoration. Many superior testaments to this work can be found on this site.
Welcome to BS.

You're not gong to like it if you use Breitling for vintage service. Use the Heists / Horological Services or chronodeco and you will be fine, but Breitling themselves have no clue on vintage - it's not the same company and it shows.

Anyone have a link to get in touch with Chronodeco? I've got a few questions for him to service this 1450. Thanks!
