A very nice piece for grabs here - sliderule in great condition and looks original to me, hands re-painted maybe but all in all a what I would call a Kurt keeper, probably on most of your watch lists

I'm currently the high bidder, although not by much. Feel free to go for it as I just bought a 1960 Nav 806 project and don't need this one now.

No I'm not bidding, I've sort of turned to the dark side and have a fondness for vintage Seiko's at the moment. Good luck chaps post some close ups when have it

Not up to my standard, it has been polished.

For what it's worth, it looks to my eyes like there's an ugly mark on the dial in-between the 1 & 2 o'clock marker.

Could be or maybe on the crystal, can't believe the bids still so low on this one will be interesting to watch later

What worries me the most, is that it is precisely over the Dial Feet, so I’m quite sure that it’s very bad.

Well done to whoever got it. If the mark was one of the Dial Feet what would that mean?, new dial required? re-soldering?, would it have any bearings on the workings ie could it snap off and foul the workings?.

As likely scenario is, that a watchmaker have tightened the dial feet too much, that have caused the lacquer on the dial to flake, so the silver plating below becomes visible.

It have no influence on how the watch works, but as everybody knows, the most important feature on a vintage watch, is the condition of the dial.

I know from seller that it’s a “mark”, and not something that went away.
