Well done to whoever got it. If the mark was one of the Dial Feet what would that mean?, new dial required? re-soldering?, would it have any bearings on the workings ie could it snap off and foul the workings?. |

As likely scenario is, that a watchmaker have tightened the dial feet too much, that have caused the lacquer on the dial to flake, so the silver plating below becomes visible. It have no influence on how the watch works, but as everybody knows, the most important feature on a vintage watch, is the condition of the dial.
