Hello, good evening,

I have a 1965 806 with box in Original condition, a one owner watch. I want to give the watch a complete overhaul. The watch has never been polished before. What should I do with the case? Leave it as it is with minimal scratches or should I polish / brush it? I am thinking of selling it, but I don't know if polishing/brushing is a good idee....

Probably best to leave it alone if you're really planning on selling. Let the potential next owner have it restored to their taste.

Leave as is

Brushing is ALLWAYS a bad idea as far as a collector is concerned , opinions differ but please leave as is , if the new owner wants to ruin it its up to him but its like destroying value
