Anyone who thinks they're going to sell a Breitling for more than spot gold is delusional!

Of course I haven't a clue and you do.

Have you ever tried to sell a Breitling? I've only fielded over 100 offers for a vintage Breitling on Ebay for about 6 weeks. Not one of these offers have been made for more than approx. 1/2 spot gold, most offers falling into the range of less than what was paid for the watch in 1948, approx. 1/8th to 1/6th today's scrap gold value.

:santa:

Yes, sold several watches and i made you an offer of approx 1.5 - 2 times spot , and you can keep the bracelet to sell separate . Never received an answer so i guessed your not interested in selling

I never saw the offer as far as I can recall, and if you did make it, then you're right, I haven't a clue and I freely admit it, how's that for honesty?

Could be that particular listing expired before I reviewed it, the offers expire in 48 hours or less, if the offer is received with less than 48 hours to the end of the listing.
