sometimes you come across a somewhat rare watch that you just need to add to your collection

here's one of those , from the launch year (pun intended) 1962

Dial has some corrosion on the edges, but they're not really watertight and all watches that have been in space will eventually get submerged when they are returned to earth as water is the softest landing spot :0)

all silliness aside

and to paraphrase my dear friend Fred 'hmmm... what other grail should I be going for ? , Digital AVI's and vintage Chronomats sure sound like the perfect quest to embark on' ;-)

Its an original nos sliderule
The one that was on it had red markings so didnt belong to the watch

I think the lume looks great Dracha, I am sort of leaning towards a newer look as opposed to the patina look and I am torn between having the face of my Navi done. What a great find and well done to you sir

Both looks great! A couple of external factors influences my decision on a vintage watch. Condition perhaps is the biggest factor because I'm not as experienced as you guys.
