sometimes you come across a somewhat rare watch that you just need to add to your collection

here's one of those , from the launch year (pun intended) 1962

Dial has some corrosion on the edges, but they're not really watertight and all watches that have been in space will eventually get submerged when they are returned to earth as water is the softest landing spot :0)

Its an original nos sliderule
The one that was on it had red markings so didnt belong to the watch

I think the lume looks great Dracha, I am sort of leaning towards a newer look as opposed to the patina look and I am torn between having the face of my Navi done. What a great find and well done to you sir

We didnt touch the lume on the black white piece
Afaik thats all original tritium

The black dial was relumed at one point , not by me so please dont ask which japanese wTch maker did it

Both looks great! A couple of external factors influences my decision on a vintage watch. Condition perhaps is the biggest factor because I'm not as experienced as you guys.
