Cant wait for it to arrive and I need to make an appointment with the watch wizard to see if this can be restored

I am still trying to convince myself I did the right thing getting this one
But there really is no 'just wait till a better one comes along' as I haven't seen one, or could find one, in 18K gold on the web or anywhere else. Most of the pieces we've seen are questionable and my gut tells me this is mostly correct, altho Fred tells me its ALL correct (thanks Fred for helping me ease my feelings)

Strange 18CT engraving on the back as well but the case matches my 784 and 785 and has the bevelled lugs of those pieces

So here we have a surviving breitling datora ref 805 in 18k gold, maybe not as rare as some of freds pieces but certainly the rarest piece i have

we'll always hate each other, Renè - too similar tastes; but I could not wish for a better collector foe/friend.

René, Datora-infected now? Great piece! Now you can see by yourself, not every Datora looks identical to another,

Not really datora infected , just buying them when i can ;-).

And when i am convinced they are authentic, on this one i suspected the hands to be incorrect , i bought it anyway, but I was convinced by another collector , whom we shall refer to as "Khan" , that they were right for this watch after i bought it
