Don't judge a book by it's cover, but it's difficult not to do so with this one. http://www.ebay.com/itm/The-vintage-wat ... 51b3589cdf How on earth can they use a picture an 806 Navitimer with a recent Breitling factory replacement dial on the cover of a book called "The vintage watch collection: Breitling". It is in my humble opinion, incredible stupid, and I won't hesitate in calling them amateurs. Has anybody bought it, and if so - can you please post some scans of the sides involving text and pictures of the 806 Navitimer section ? Kurt B http://www.kurt-b.com |

haven't bought it because of that ridiculous "icon" on the cover, afraid the rest of the book will be as amateurish. |

I just bought the book and waiting for it to arrive. I read some auto on the writers and less than helpful reviews and decided to see if by the small chance it had anything useful. Then again, like Richter's book there is some errors where members had pointed out in his book. Using this knowledge I believe one can make a pretty good judgement to what is valid and what is not. Don't know how much I can post copy righted material here but I will share what I can. I think it's in french but my partner is a Francophile and I have google. who knows. |
